I always wanted to become an expert, specialist and professional who has a passion for what they do.

I started off my career as an IT support and IT security intern. Although I gained valuable knowledge and work experiences, my work and responsibilities have rekindled my interests about programming to further expand my career. I wanted to understand languages that compose and assemble software applications, servers and the web.

I immediately started self-studying and have taken various courses from Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platforms. Those courses taught me about fundamental understandings about programming languages but, the most interesting subjects for me were HTML, CSS and JavaScript, which are the backbone of the most widely used modern platform, the Web.

I have enjoyed every moment while I am self-studying HTML, CSS and JavaScript even though I got stuck in one simple issue for a couple of hours. It was so exciting to see the changes on the webpage through my clumsy codes. Also, building a webpage seemed like the perfect medium between design and programming. I wanted to aligning, positioning and decorating the web page structures while maintaining full-functionality and accessibility. I finally found my life-time goal that is viable and fits with my passion; become a front-end developer.

I decided to apply for Juno’s Web Development Bootcamp after spoke with one of the student success specialists, Michael MacKenzie. Michael explained every details about Juno’s JavaScript part-time course and Web Development Bootcamp, including the application process. Both the application process and JavaScript part-time course weren’t easy but, I admitted to Juno’s May Bootcamp session.

It’s been only two weeks since the Bootcamp has started however, I was able to built solid-understanding about HTML and CSS that covered during the first two weeks. I can’t wait to learn more about the web development with amazing cohorts-34!!!😁😀

More to come soon…
